Dr. Macaulay is an academic and educational consultant. He currently lectures in the Department of Biology, Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), Nigeria, where he specialises in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management, and teaches over 300 undergraduate and Masters students annually. He has also published ~10 academic papers with over 100 global citations on Google Scholar. In addition, he is a two-time Commonwealth Scholar (MSc, University of Greenwich, 2012; PhD, University of Manchester, 2015), a three-time Judge for The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, an SDG-4 advocate, and an RCS 150 Fellow who received the honorary award during the 150th anniversary of the Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) in the UK in 2018. In January 2018, he created iLLUMANIA, an online educational, business and environmental consulting outfit (registered with the CAC and FIRS in Nigeria) to render academic support to students, graduates and business professionals.
